Strategic Plan To Achieve The 'BIG GOAL'
Background

Susie King Taylor Community School (SKTCS) is a tuition-free public charter school in the historic district of Savannah, GA. SKTCS aims to empower students through critical thinking, creativity, and academic development.
SCAD collaboration was to co-create a strategic action plan based on SKTCS’ six focus areas and to guide the school toward the goal of educating the “Whole Child.” The class developed and conducted on-site workshops at the school. Through thorough analyses, the class was able to derive the core message and provide the schools with tools and practices that align with the core message and the school focus areas.
